Thoughts that confuse me. - part 1

  1. Aging is a disease with a 100% mortality rate.
  2. There are only 365 different birthdays for nearly 8 billion people.
  3. Bread is just a loaf of dough. So, by that logic cheese is just a loaf of milk and an ice cube is just a loaf of water.
  4. The money you earn is never actually yours, it's just your turn with it.
  5. It takes more letters to spell the word "short" than it takes to spend the word "long".
  6. You often hear that life is a roller coaster and I get it, it feels like it. But when you're on a rollercoaster aren't the downhill parts the most fun?
  7. About half of the universe is in your field of view at all times.
  8. Brushing your teeth is really the only time you ever clean your skeleton.
  9. You really can't clean something without making something else dirty.
  10. Humans cut down bird houses (trees) to make bird houses

    Excellent compilation of ironies and contradictions of life, which as every one knows is quite complicated. However it is this variety, diversity, differences, uncertainty and unpredictable nature of life and human behavior that makes life interesting and worth living. Just imagine how a life would be where everyone recites the same tune and sings the same song.

Even when everyone on planet Earth is going through difficult times, it makes the situation look much better when we realize that we are all going through it.... together, to realize that everyone understands and is there for you. We all know the story of a farmer and his quarrelling sons. The sons could each easily break a single stick, but when several were made into a bunch neither of them could break it. The sons then recognised the value of unity and gave up their quarells. We understand from this that peace and success come from from overcoming our differences. If together we are unable to do so we will all 'fall', only to learn our lesson and get back up together. Dance and how it moulds me.

 I have been dancing since I was only 3 years old, me now being 11 have been dancing all my life.  Ever since I started going to my dance class, I feel like I find myself and connect with me through dance. It is my safe place, whenever I am sad, frustrated, mad or even happy I go dance. Dancing helps me feel better, it helps me be better. Whenever I dance I feel like i know who i am, i feel like I am not lost anymore, I feel like I am at home. Dancing makes me smile during the darkest days and let's me enjoy the days when the sun is up and bright. I do ballet, but am very fond of other dance styles, like hip hop, contemporary and many more.   Recently I went to a national dance competition, where me and my fellow dancers won the first and second place. I know I will get more opportunities and I am forever ready to take them on.
