Revenge. A blinding light.
Revenge, "When you begin a journey of Revenge start by digging two graves, one for your enemy and one for yourself" Getting revenge taints your own heart and corrupts your very human nature. Though revenge can be good, when it is massive success, it can be good when it is total ignorance, it can be good when there is no forgetting but all the forgiving.
Revenge blinds the man who seeks it, blinds the ever so unscrupulous man, the man that takes the path to his own defeat, the man who does so voluntarily. So why not rise instead, why not instead rise to success?
Revenge is a game with the the outcome of no winner. You will not only hurt your target but yourself as well.
So true. As Albert Einstein had said "Weak people revenge, Strong people forgive, Intelligent people ignore" So we have to be strong and intelligent people, not weak. Francis Bacon had said "A man that studieth revenge keeps his own wounds green, which otherwise would heal and do well". As someone had also said "My silence is not a sign that I gave up, it's only a beginning of my revenge" However, it's sometimes difficult to keep silent in the face of persistent hostility. In that scenario, it would be better to say "Returning the favour" instead of "Revenge", which sounds very mean.
